Connecting an Outlook email account to WooSender

Article Shortcut:

  • Connecting Outlook email is only available for free accounts. If you are using the Microsoft Exchange, please connect it with the SMTP and IMAP info.

  • If your domain is synced with GoDaddy email (Office 365) or Microsoft 365, you will not be able to connect the domain to WooSender since Office 365 does not provide IMAP information. Therefore, we recommend connecting your custom domain to Google Workspace instead of Office 365 to ensure it works with WooSender.

Previously, users were only allowed to have 1 email address per account. In response to numerous user requests, WooSender now allows you to connect business and personal email addresses via the account settings and personal settings, including those from Gmail and Outlook, for sending emails. Users can also opt to use SMTP or IMAP to connect to a different email provider for email communications within WooSender.

The benefit of connecting a personal email is that it's already verified and authenticated, ensuring emails go directly to recipients' inboxes, and avoiding the promotions or spam folders.

You may have found that the settings sidebar has undergone a makeover. Our aim was to enhance user-friendliness and streamline the interface to clearly distinguish between personal and account settings. To connect with your business email provider, simply navigate to Account Settings ➡️ Account Email.

WooSender Settings

  1. Click the avatar icon on the top right.

  2. Select the settings option in the drop-down menu.

  3. Click the communication option on the left-hand side.

  4. Select the 'Account Email' option from the drop-down menu.

  1. Select the 'Switch Provider' option.

  2. Choose Outlook as the email provider.


Connecting Outlook

  1. Type in your Outlook email address.

  2. Type in your Outlook email password.

  3. Click 'next' once you have entered both the email and password

  4. You should see it successfully connected.

Adding the Personal Email

Since Gmail and Outlook have their own sending limits, connecting individual users' email addresses will help distribute the load. This way, you will be able to send more emails than the individual limits allow..

Setting up your personal email inside of WooSender is completely the same as connecting your business email account just follow the steps above to get started.
