In response to numerous user requests, WooSender now offers the option for users to utilize their personal email addresses for sending emails. Previously, only the account email address and its associated signature were permissible. However, users can now link any personal email, including those from Gmail, Outlook, or other email providers, to WooSender.
You may have observed that the settings sidebar has undergone a makeover. Our aim was to enhance user-friendliness and streamline the interface to clearly distinguish between personal and account settings. To connect with your personal email provider, simply navigate to Personal Settings ➡️ Personal Email.
You have three choices for linking your personal email: Gmail, Outlook, and other email service providers.

For Gmail
Kindly note that when connecting Gmail, you won't be able to log in directly with your personal password. Instead, it requires enabling two-factor authentication and logging in with an app password (generated password). Instructions on obtaining the generated password are provided in the link below.
For Outlook
On the otherhand, when connecting your Outlook account, you can use your usual email address and password for logging into Outlook. Nevertheless, there may be instances where inputting the correct email and password results in WooSender displaying an error indicating "Incorrect email or password." In such cases, we recommend generating an app password and attempting again. If you already have two-factor authentication enabled, it is necessary to utilize the app password as well.
For Alternative Email Providers
If you intend to link accounts from providers besides Gmail and Outlook, you'll need to input all required details manually. This information isn't provided by WooSender; you'll have to retrieve it from your email provider directly.
NOTE: For the SMTP Port Number, please use the value of TLS.
After a successful connection, the connected email provider will be displayed. You have the option to switch providers or disconnect the current provider to revert to using the Account email.

You now have the ability to customize your personal signature, fulfilling numerous user requests, and also configure your outgoing name.
Account Email
We also changed the connecting Account email as well. In addition to connecting custom domains, you can now also link Gmail, Outlook, and other email providers. If you wish to integrate a custom domain, you'll find the option under the WooSender tab. Although it has a new appearance, the authentication process for custom domains remains unchanged.
Kindly be aware that it's necessary to initially link your Account email before utilizing the personal email feature. This ensures that in cases where no assignee is assigned for the contact, emails will be sent from the account email address as a default.
