When you register your A2P Brand with your Business Profile inside WooSender, the carriers will submit your business information to The Campaign Registry for review, which will determine your eligibility and throughput for your messaging Campaigns. Below is a summary of how Brand approval works and our best practices to ensure your Brand is approved with a high trust score.
What You Need To Know
The approval process begins with a first round review of your brand by The Campaign Registry. After that, your brand is automatically submitted for Secondary Vetting — an extra review that can help increase your messaging limits and throughput. Once this is done, you’ll receive a Trust Score.
How To Maximize Your Trust Score
To help get your Campaign Brand approved and receive the most accurate Trust Score, it’s important to submit your business information correctly. Below are some best practices to follow, along with answers to common questions about Brand registration
1. For private and public for-profit companies, your EIN and Legal Company Name must match official business registration records.
2. For Standard A2P 10DLC brand registration, customers with a US presence must use an EIN number.
3. Enter your Legal Company Name exactly as registered with the IRS: If you're registering a U.S. business, be sure to enter the exact Legal Company Name as it appears on your CP 575 EIN Confirmation Letter from the IRS. The name must match your EIN exactly for your Brand to be approved.
Note: Avoid using the name from W-2 or W-9 forms, as it may differ from what's listed on the CP 575.
What if I’m not happy with my low Trust Score? Can I request a review?
The best way to improve your Trust Score is to follow the best practices listed above, including using a valid EIN and providing an accurate business address.
Low Trust Scores can happen for a few reasons:
Mismatched information in your A2P registration, like using an address that doesn’t match what’s on file with your official business registration (e.g., your EIN).
Having a limited online or business presence.
Smaller businesses or those with less visibility typically receive lower scores.
If you get a low Trust Score, WooSender can help by submitting a review with the carriers.
Note: If a review is submitted to the carriers, there is NO guarantee that the trust score will increase, as it can also decrease the trust score.
