Shortcut:

Under TCR regulation, all businesses must register their campaigns. Those not registered by this date will be unable to send SMS.

All campaign registrations are manually vetted by TCR. To ensure a smooth registration process and faster approval times, please provide all the required information upfront to minimize back-and-forth communication.

Quick Video Explanation Here

You can check if you registered here https://app.woosender.com/setting/info

Things You Need to Have Before Submitting:

1) Privacy Policy Page:

Please provide the URL of your privacy policy page. If you don't have one, you can use the template provided here

⚠️ Important: All Privacy Policies must explicitly state that the business will not share, sell, or rent customers’ SMS opt-in information to third parties.

Example wording:

We respect your privacy. Your SMS opt-in information will never be shared, sold, or rented to third parties for marketing purposes.”

📌 Annotation/Note for readers:
If your Privacy Policy does not contain this disclaimer, your campaign will likely be rejected during the vetting process. Always double-check that this clause is included before submission.

NOTE: This page should NOT contain any indications that the data from the opt-in form is disseminated to others. Mentioning terms like "third party," "share information," or "business transfer" is strictly forbidden.
Any such references will result in rejection.

2) Terms of Service Page:

Please provide the URL of the terms of service from your website. If you don't have one, we offer a template you can use here.

3) Opt in Form + Consent text:

Opt-in form, also known as CTA (Call-to-Action), is the place where end-users provide their phone number and consent to receive SMS from a business. Please ensure that the customer’s opt-in form contains the following:

  • Company name: Legal name or DBA of the end-user who will send the messages

  • Pricing disclosure: “Message and data rates may apply”

  • Message frequency: If it’s not exact, customers can use “Message frequency varies”. If it is exact, they should say something like “X Msg/Month”

  • Instructions to opt-out and get help: Reply HELP for help, or STOP to opt-out

  • Privacy notice: Link to Privacy Policy and Terms of Service

-A compliant Privacy Policy must state that no mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes.
Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service is permitted.

  • Program description: Types of messages the customer is going to send (e.g., transactional, conversational, promotional, etc.) - this is also known as the
    “purpose” of the opt-in flow/CTA.

-SMS consent must be optional: Consent for SMS messaging must always be optional and cannot be bundled with consent for any other service or
    communication method.

-No pre-checked SMS checkboxes: SMS opt-in checkboxes must never be pre-checked. Pre-selecting these boxes constitutes forced consent and
    is not compliant with regulations.

-Separate opt-in required: Each message type—especially marketing messages—must have its own distinct opt-in option. This can be implemented
as a separate checkbox or a dedicated call-to-action (CTA).

-Phone number field MUST be optional

For reference, heres a compliant opt-in verbiage example:

Consent Text Template:

By clicking "SUBMIT", you consent to receive marketing and account related notifications from <INSERTCOMPANYNAME> at the number provided, according to your selections above. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
Messages' Frequency will vary. Msg & data rates may apply.
Reply HELP for help or STOP to cancel. View our Privacy Policy, and Terms

4) Identify Yourself:

If you are the actual lender, please state so in the campaign description "We are a direct lender."
