This feature makes it easier for your contacts to manage their email preferences, which helps reduce spam complaints and improve your email deliverability. By offering a smoother experience for your contacts, you’ll ensure your emails reach the right people who truly want to hear from you.
Key Feature:
The unsubscribe button will only show up for automated emails.
The unsubscribe button will not show up for manual emails.
Automated Emails
Only emails sent from the campaign level will contain the unsubscribe button.
Manual Emails
Emails manual sent by the user will not contain the unsubscribe button in the footer of the email.
What happens when the unsubscribe button is clicked?
When a contact clicks the unsubscribe button, a pop-up will appear asking them to confirm if they want to unsubscribe from your email list.
When a contact unsubscribes from the email list, their profile in WooSender will be updated. The DNC toggle will be turned ON which means you won't be able to send emails to the contact, and their status will change to STOPPED.
How Can the Contact Resubscribe?
If a contact accidentally unsubscribes from the email list, they can easily rejoin by clicking the Resubscribe button.
When a contact resubscribes to the email list, the DNC toggle will automatically turn off, allowing email communication to continue.
