The latest update of the WooSender mobile app, named "Big Change," marks a significant overhaul aimed at enhancing user experience. Addressing the feedback on its predecessor's less user-friendly interface, where users struggled with small or closely placed buttons and limited functionalities, this update brings a breath of fresh air into mobile communication management.

Simplified Navigation

"Big Change" introduces a simplified navigation bar, eliminating the keypad, call history and contact page to make way for a conversation-focused landing page. This change allows users to immediately access their messages, prioritizing efficiency and ease of use.

Organized Conversations

Messages are neatly grouped into categories such as Unread, Assigned to Me, and All, allowing users to swiftly navigate to the content relevant to them. This reorganization ensures that every user interaction with the app is both purposeful and time-efficient.

More Control with Conversation Filters

The update introduces powerful filters for conversations. Now, users can tailor their message view even further by filtering conversations based on criteria such as Assignee, Campaign, Contact Status, Conversation Status, and Date. This addition means you can quickly zero in on exactly the conversations you need to see, without having to scroll through everything. It's all about making your interaction with the app faster and more focused, saving you time and effort when managing your communications.

Enhanced Communication Visibility

Each message clearly displays whether it's incoming or outgoing and identifies the channel it's from. This visibility is crucial for users managing communications across multiple platforms, offering instant context with minimal effort.

Refined Contact Management

Despite the messaging-centric redesign, the new version retains robust contact management and calling features. Users can search for contacts, start conversations, or add new contacts easily through a "+ button" on the top right. Detailed contact pages also remain, supporting direct calls to contacts.

Improved Contact Detail Page

The "Big Change" update has made the contact detail page much better. Before this update, finding a contact's information, notes, or appointments was hard because you had to click through many pages and dropdown menus. It wasn't easy or quick, and sometimes you couldn't see all the information you needed right away. Now, everything you need to know about a contact is on one simple page. This means you don't have to jump around different parts of the app to find what you're looking for, making it much simpler to see and manage contacts, their notes, and any appointments you have with them.

Streamlined Contact Information with Categorized Tabs

While we've brought everything about contact to one page, we've gone a step further to organize the contact's information, notes, and appointments into separate tabs. This means that when you're looking at a contact's details, you won't be overwhelmed by all the information at once. Instead, you can easily switch between tabs to focus on exactly what you need, whether it's their basic info, the notes you've made about them, or upcoming appointments. This approach keeps everything neatly in one place but allows you to concentrate on the task at hand without any distractions.

Enhanced Usability on the Conversation Page

The conversation page in the WooSender app has undergone significant changes with the update. Previously, users found it challenging to interact with the app as the buttons were too closely spaced, often leading to accidental presses without any confirmation. Now, we've spaced out the buttons adequately and introduced confirmation pop-ups for critical actions like making calls or closing conversations. This ensures that actions are intentional, reducing errors and increasing user comfort.

Additionally, we've added a new functionality that was highly requested: the ability to attach images and files. Users can now easily attach images or files from their devices or select from pre-set templates by clicking the "+" on the bottom left of the screen.

We've also streamlined the message composing box, reducing it to just the essential buttons to minimize clutter. For those needing to communicate across various platforms, the channel icon on the bottom left allows users to select the appropriate channel for sending a message. If a button is greyed out, it indicates that messaging is not available for that particular channel with the selected contact, providing clear visual cues to prevent confusion.

Convenient Calendar Page

A highly requested addition to the update is the new calendar page. Unlike the old version, which was primarily focused on conversation management, the updated WooSender app allows users to not only manage contacts and conversations but also handle appointments directly within the app. This new feature means you no longer need to switch between different calendar apps or use a computer to check or schedule your appointments.

From the WooSender app, you can effortlessly view your calendar, modify existing ones by rescheduling or deleting them. It's important to note that this calendar specifically displays appointments booked through WooSender, so it won't include entries from other synced calendars. This dedicated calendar feature streamlines your scheduling tasks, making it easier and faster to manage appointments on the go.

Updated Settings Page for Enhanced Control

The new update also introduces significant enhancements to the settings page, making it more user-friendly and functional. Now, the profile card prominently displays the user type, making it clear whether you are an Admin, account owner, or a regular user.

For Admins and account owners, the settings page now includes a new toggle option for "Assigned Data," allowing them to choose whether to view only the data assigned to them. This feature helps streamline workflow and focus on relevant information.

Another significant addition is the ability to reset passwords directly from the mobile app. Previously, password resets were required using the desktop version of the app, but now users can manage their security settings on the go. Any changes made on the mobile app, including password resets, will be automatically synced to the desktop app, ensuring seamless security management across devices. This updated settings page not only enhances user experience but also empowers users with greater control over their app interactions and security.
