What is this about?

We are going to provide you with a recommendation for how many messages you should send based on your lead type. By following our recommendation, you will be able to communicate with your leads more effectively and prevent your messages from being filtered, resulting in high error rates or opt-out rates. Such scenarios can have a negative impact on your message delivery rate, which could lead to the suspension of your account.

SMS limitations on Inbound leads

When using inbound leads, it's recommended that you limit your SMS sending to no more than 1000 per day to maintain effective communication. However, if you plan to import and begin sending SMS to 1000 new contacts at once, we strongly advise against sending out 1000 SMS messages all at once.

Instead, we recommend that you gradually ramp up your SMS sending over a period of time to avoid getting impacted on message delivery time.

⬇️ The table below is an example of how to gradually increase to 1000

DAY

LIMIT

1

125 (new contact)

2

250 (125 existing + new)

3

375 (250 existing + new)

4

500 (250 existing + new)

5

625 (500 existing + new)

6

750 (625 existing + new)

7

875 (750 existing + new)

8th Day & Ongoing

1000 (875 existing + new)

SMS limitations on Outbound leads

When using outbound leads, it's important to consider how frequently and how many SMS messages you send. Sending a large number of messages at once can lead to issues like filtering, high error rates, and opt-outs.

To avoid these problems, limit your daily SMS sending to a maximum of 500 messages and gradually increase the number you send to ensure effective communication with your leads per day.

⬇️ The table below is an example of how to gradually increase to 500

DAY

LIMIT

1

100

2

200 (100 existing + new)

3

300 (200 existing + new)

4

400 (300 existing + new)

5th Day & Ongoing

500 (400 existing + new)
