If youโre running into issues connecting your Facebook Business Page to WooSender, youโre not alone. Some clients find that even though they have access through Meta Business Suite (Business Portfolio), the connection still fails.
Hereโs the full guide to fixing this and making sure your Page connects properly.
๐จ Why the Connection Fails
Facebook offers two types of access to Pages:
People with Facebook access
Found directly under the Pageโs settings.
These users can switch into the Page from their Facebook profile.
Roles include Admin and Editor.
Business Portfolio (Meta Business Suite) access
Access is assigned at the business account level.
Used mainly for agencies or centralized teams managing multiple assets.
๐ The issue: WooSender requires direct Page access. If your account only has Business Portfolio access, the connection may fail.
โ Step-by-Step Fix
Follow these steps to make sure your account has the right type of access:
1. Switch Into Your Page
Log into Facebook.
Click your profile photo in the top right corner.
Select the Page you want to connect.
2. Check Page Access
While inside the Page, go to:
โSettings & privacy โ Settings โ Page setup โ Page access.Look under People with Facebook access.
If you see your Facebook profile listed with the Admin role โ โ Good.
If your profile is missing โ this is the problem.
3. Add Yourself to the Page (If Needed)
Click Add New โ People with Facebook access.
Search for your name or email.
Select Admin (recommended).
Accept the invitation in your personal Facebook account.
4. (Optional) Check Business Portfolio Access
Open Meta Business Suite.
Go to Business settings โ People โ Pages.
Confirm youโre also assigned access to the Page.
๐ก Note: This is optional. Portfolio access is useful, but direct Page access is required for WooSender.
5. Reconnect to WooSender
Log into WooSender.
Go to Settings โ Integrations โ Facebook.
Select the Page and approve permissions.
