We understand that some of our customers who make legitimate voice calls may encounter the frustrating issue of their outbound calls being mislabeled as spam or scam. This may result in unanswered or blocked calls, which can be problematic.
What do I do if my calls are being tagged as spam likely?
If your calls are currently being tagged as spam, we suggest registering your numbers with each of the carriers or their call analytics providers.
This will inform them of your identity, and legitimate use case, and that your customers are expecting your calls. Registration is free, but it's important to note that while it often resolves to mislabel, it's not a guarantee that your calls won't be labelled as nuisance calls in the future.
If certain call patterns are detected, as inconsistent with your registered usage, or if consumers report spam or fraud, your registered numbers may still be flagged again.
What caused my number to be tagged as spam likely?
Spam Calls or Nuisance Calls are calls that are labelled for the US carriers if certain call patterns are established. E.g 99% of calls are not connected. Or 90% of the calls are under 3 seconds etc.
In summary, there are three key practices to remove and prevent mislabeling of your numbers:
Register your numbers
Ensure you have complied with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies
Maintain consistent calling behavior by phone number
To ensure your numbers are covered, register them proactively for any new numbers you obtain with the three mobile providers or call analytics providers, as they will cover the following carrier networks.

NOTE: CNAM will not remove the labels, but may increase answer rates due to the proper display of caller information applied to the call.
