Email Setup

To send emails to contact via your email instead of woomessenger.com, please follow these steps or this video https://www.loom.com/share/583cde3fbf5b401d83224f09340ff663:

  1. Login to WooSender and go to settings

  2. Under settings choose email on the left side

  3. Turn on "Send From My Email”

  4. Enter your domain which you want to send emails from

  5. Select the Authenticate button

  6. You need to add all of these records on the right side to your host's DNS section. If don't have the ability to modify our DNS records, please ask the person who can to do so.

For most domain providers, you do not need to add the entire line in the host column, you only need the content right before your domain name .
(ex. ws.woosender.com --> plug in only "ws")
    (ex. krs._domainkey.ws.woosender.com --> plug in only " krs._domainkey.ws")

  1. When you get the step 3 done, please select "I've added these records" and click Verify

  2. Enter your email address which you want to send emails via the Verified domain above

  3. Once the domain is Verified, all emails will be sent and received via your email address and the Verified domain

Note: If the domain is failed for any reasons, all emails will be sent and received via the default Outgoing Email (@woomessenger.com)

Example Setup:

WooSender Custom E-Mail Setup - IMPORTANT

You must setup your DNS settings based on the hosting that is taking care of your nameserver. Ex. If you have a Godaddy domain but your hosting is with Hostgator. Most likely you will be setting up your DNS in hostgator (not godaddy)

You can test your email score here https://www.mail-tester.com/test-75td5ggfd

When setting up your email inside of WooSender you should use a subdomain for your email domain name. For example, yourname@woosender.com should be yourrname@m1.woosender.com

View the video below to learn how to create subdomain
https://www.loom.com/share/a743e883e5b34214b11361720ea49f75

Each account can only be associated with one MX record for one domain name. If you have multiple accounts you should create multiple subdomain names for each record. For example, jack@woosender.com and mary@woosender.com should have individual subdomains for their emails and should look like this jack@m1.woosender.com and mary@m2.woosender.com

Once the domain name is created you can mask the subdomain so that prospects only see your primary domain as the inbound email address.

Subdomain Name Masking Example:

Note: If your company has more than 20 accounts with WooSender you can reach out to support for a custom configuration quote to avoid subdomain name masking.
